So how is updating HopeItems and ReflexAPI going? I fully support your take on open-sourcing!

Pretty good. @SpiroMarshes was kind enough to do part of the 1.13 update for free when he heard about me doing this. Then @kmecpp was updating the rest of it, but unfortunately was not able to finish it. So now @v_M_v plans to finish updating it, fix the bugs, and possibly add the suggestions.

And @Parozzz (the original dev of both plugins) is willing to accept any pull requests for the changes made so other people will eventually be able to download the updates from Spigot.

I'm a Computer Science Major and have currently learned the basics of Python, HTML, CSS, and C++. My end goal is to create Minecraft plugins for my server and for the MC community. Additionally, I'd like to become a software developer once I get my Bachelor's. Of course, that's easier said than done so we'll see.

If you're interested in learning programming or even a little curious, I recommend checking out this free site: https://www.mikedane.com/ which features multiple programming languages (Python, Java, C++, HTML, CSS, Databases, Etc). I recommend Python for complete beginners.

It has videos and text tutorials and teaches good programming practices, based on the videos I've watched.

Programming will get you far in life, whether it is for making your own games, plugins (for Minecraft), apps, programs for games, software, etc. Not to mention there are many well paying Computer Science jobs out there! Better to learn early-- don't wait until college if you don't need too. In college (Both Universities & Community Colleges) a lot of professors just tell you to "look it up" when you're having trouble.
