I have been running FloydCraft for a long time now starting back in 2011, I've enjoyed playing ever since 1.7Beta in 2010 and am very confident in pretty much all aspects of managing a Spigot server. FloydCraft is a great server with an awesome community, we have an active Discord and offer a huge set of worlds for our players! we have our own custom plugins aswell as over 100 plugins listed on this site, some are Premium!
We also have a large set of fun minigames including Turf Wars, BedWars Premium, BlockHunt, SkyWars, MobArena, AdventureParkour and many others!
we try and keep on top of the latest spigot updates and make sure we offer a fun experience for our players but the main thing we do different is the we offer Free Premium Minecraft Accounts to out players who have played for a while, enjoy minecraft in general and cant afford the game for themselves, we have so far given away 30+ Premium Accounts and are planning on giving away more in the future!
we use DragonProxy to offer our players the ability to join with the Windows 10 Edition of Minecraft so long as its version 1.5.*
I Run the server with Tallulah95 and we run it pretty well
Its been our personal project for a long time and have learnt a lot from our time and one day we plan to invest in renting a datacentre and beginning a hub server with Bungee of our own and plan on creating our owne plugins with some creative devs but we have a long way to go until then!
We also host eMail accounts for our Premium Account winners on our @floydcraft domain and we have the amazing DynMap which you can check out here
Therese lots of other stuff to FloydCraft that i haven't put here, you can find out more here http://floydcraft.co.uk/
Aswell as the Minecraft stuff i also develop windows native applications in an old programming language called Delphi, I learnt it in my spare time back when i was in school and have created quite a lot of apps in the past
One of them was a Minecraft Launcher i called Multicraft, that is before the Multicraft Multi server manager thing was around, Originally i named it that and it was pretty popular for a few months, It reached the top downloads on Planet minecraft but was then removed by one of there mods claiming i was an abstract language and not to relist it which seemed strange to me.. anyway i was getting bored with that at the time anyway so i started working on other things, you can find my old Multicraft program here https://download.cnet.com/Multicraft/3000-2344_4-75899052.html
After that i made a deal with a local computer recycling business to make them an application they could give to there users to allow them to manage and install apps without getting a virus, so i created them an App centre, there company was called Airedale Computers so i called it the Airedale Computers app centre. It was powered by Chocolaty, a program that can gather software from its source and silent install it within the command prompt or application managing it, with that i was able to put a huge set of applications into a nice custom GUI that there users enjoyed for many years and still have requests regarding it to this day! i also created a receipt invoice emailer for another company, the the app was a basic form in there theme with all the questions and information needed, the user would simply explain what they wanted and the staff would tick boxes and type in them, after that they would simply click submit and the application would tell its own gmail account to email the content of the form within a nice GUI to the user and the manager.
i honestly haven't done very much with java at all, the farest i ever go is attempting to compile an older plugin agents a newer craftbukkit with minor changes in an attempt to get it working and sometimes it actually works! I've worked with computers my whole life, i left school for 3 days a week for he last 3 years of school so i could work at a computer shop, the school gave me that possession because i was recently banned from there network for opening there unprotected files that were simply hidden lol.. anyway i worked there a total of 8 years an had a great time educating there staff on how to do there job more efficiently, in the time i was there i did a lot of work with networking as i got to enjoy setting up there entire network including deploying operating systems over a VPN to each shop which they didn't know was possible somehow.. after that they paid me to go on a Microsoft Course because of how much i was able to help them and i scored 98% on both my major exams which for me the Microsoft Certified Professional award, i then went on to work for Fujitsu, the possession was working on a government service desk, basically i would help the government with the simplest stupidest things ever, like out government cant even manage to save a word document half of the time, its amazing we arent all dead! anyway after just over a year of that i quit! it was awefull and now i work on our servers entirely, its been a good few years and we plan to keep it going as long as we can!
Thank you for reading all this crap...
