        I know the feeling. I volunteered to do a PoS system for a local candy shop. It's nearly done, just need to polish off a few things and get with the merchant account guy to do the credit card stuff but I can't get myself motivated to work on it. Been so long that when I do finally get around to it, I'll have to spend awhile getting back up to speed on the code lol

        What does being 43 have to do with anything? You don't stop liking the things you like just because your age goes past a certain point. The people who stop gaming because of their age are sorry individuals who are bowing to societies pressure to conform to a certain image. I couldn't care less what people think of me or my pasttimes. I also *gasp* like anime! Shocking! :)

        PS: and yep, I have a job. I'm a government IT guy. Nice thing about being old means I've been in my field for a quarter century; I'm senior to the point that I can set my own hours and years ago decided to work from home (as the infrastructure I manage can be managed over VPN/SSH) so I get a fat six figure government paycheck to sit at home keeping an eye on things while I watch my anime and play my games :D
