Yeah thanks! I've been to the site and will return to dig into what you're working on. One thing I noticed immediately when Googling Lua Minecraft was that there are several different efforts out there using Lua for Minecraft modding, including Lukkit. How should I approach this topic, short of doing deep dives on every option out there? Thoughts? and thanks again!

Unlike many other options, Lukkit is a plugin. It can be loaded on to a regular Spigot server and can be used like Skript. Many other alternatives force the user to use an API like Spigot, but JUST for Lua, while Lua allows you to access both the Spigot API regularly and from Lua.

Holy cow! What a brilliant idea and approach. Dude, I'm onto it. So, could you characterize the level of 'completeness' for Lukkit --- whatever that means, but probably the degree of access to the Spigot API. Hey, thanks for taking the time to explain.

Edit: If you see this edit before you reply, one more question. What's the current performance impact on the Lua->Spigot plugin? Just a characterization.

That's exactly what I was wondering. If the method of using Lua with Spigot JavaDocs is reasonably consistent, then any lack of docs becomes less of an issue. Thanks for that tip, @JSpartan250

Lukkit simply converts the Spigot API to Lua with a few modifications for Lua use. It's practically the same.

You can also found a semi-outdated, but custom version of the JavaDocs on https://lukkit.us/docs if you want to use it. However, it may not contain all of the current methods.

Yeah was scanning through it a while ago. Also looking at example usage.
