Custom Items and Textures! No Mods!

  1. Config Updates and Bug Fixes

    chrismin1302
WARNING: IF YOU'VE MADE ANY CHANGES TO THE ITEMS IN THE CONFIG, THEY WILL BE DISCARDED. BACKUP THE CONFIG.YML FILE BEFORE UPDATING!

This update brings a plethora of new options to the items section of the config. Attributes are now in the config, so you can add new ones or change existing ones. This allows you to change attack speed, attack damage, or even add stuff like movement speed. There's now also an option to change the color of Leather Armor.

There have also been a few bug fixes...

  2. Hotfix for 1.13

    This is a minor update.

If you are a Minecraft 1.13 user and you have experienced errors, it is suggested that you download the Additions API update to fix those errors.

  3. Bug fixes and 1.13 support

    chrismin1302
Finally 1.13 support has been added! This has been one of, if not the biggest, Minecraft Updates ever released. This update of the Additions API is mostly a compatibility update to be compatible with the new version of Spigot and to mimic the mechanics of the 1.13 release. There's also been a number of bug fixes, and hopefully some improvements to compatibility with PaperSpigot!
Due to the amount of changes made in 1.13, I will now be maintaining two versions of the plugin: One for...

  4. The Resource Pack Update

    chrismin1302
This is a major update and the first release on GitHub. Old releases can still be found on Spigot.

This update changes the way the Resource Pack is handled by default. From now on, minepack.net will be used to host the Resource Pack which means that PORT FORWARDING IS NO LONGER REQUIRED! Furthermore, if you had issues with hosting the resource pack in the past, then these have most likely been resolved.

IF YOU ARE ALREADY USING THE RESOURCE PACK OF THE ADDITIONS API THROUGH THE...

  5. Compatibility Fixes for 1.9

    chrismin1302
    This is a minor update.

If you are using the Additions API on any version of Spigot older than 1.12, then I strongly suggest you download this update. It fixes some of the texture and durability issues that were present in earlier versions of Minecraft.

It adds a few new permissions for disabling the use of the resource pack (thanks @pinkpig for the suggestion!) and fixes a couple of bugs reported by users.

  7. Performance Improvements and Bug Fixes

    chrismin1302
    This is a minor update.

It fixes many bugs that were reported over the past month as well as many performance improvements, especially for items like the Slime Bucket. The AddditionsAPIPostInitializationEvent has also been added which lets you know when the initialization finished so you can acquire the final durability of the Custom Items. Special thanks to @DrkMatr1984 for creating a pull request containing all the necessary code to make this work, his help has been...

  8. New Config Option for Fake Durability

    chrismin1302
    This is a minor update.

It introduces a new option under every Custom Item in the config to change the Max Durability that they have by default.

  9. Repair Command and Metrics

    chrismin1302
    This is a minor update.

A new "/additions repair" command has been added that allows you to repair any item, regardless if it's a Custom Item or not. The permission node is additionsapi.repair.

I have also added Metrics which will help me get a better understanding of who uses the plugin and in what kind of environment. It will help improve subsequent updates. Keep in mind that all the data is completely anonymous and no personal data will be sent! I have chosen bStats as the Metrics...

  10. New Config Option for Permissions

    chrismin1302
    This is a minor update.

It adds an option in the config to change the default permission type. This way, the default permission type can be allow, so all Permissions are disabled by default and you must provide the allow permission type for the Custom Item.
