    The next generation of the best scoreboard plugin has arrived. Try it out and enjoy the premium features of the best animated scoreboard plugin.

    - pause, resume, hide, show and switch between the animations at any time you need
    - up to 70 character text per line: on no color code usage, otherwise, up to around 64-66


    - no more flicker, if it is not required, if it is required: It only flickers on longer texts (longer then around 22-26 characters), and only when their middle part is changed


    - the BEST possibility of the variable handling: The variables aren't hard coded in the plugin, but they can be simply setup in the variables.yml file. This variable system supports almost EVERY plugins EVERY variable. Additionally it supports already precoded variables provided by the PlaceholderAPI plugin. Which also means, that it supports MVdW placeholders, which is more, than 5000 already hard coded one.

    This free version is only provided for testing and experimenting purposes.
    For making sure that you do not abuse this trial version, I have added some limitations to the plugin:

    How to use PlaceholderAPI placeholders?

    1. Stop your server (if it's running) - DO NOT USE RELOAD

    2. Add the latest SpigotLib and PlaceholderAPI to your server (remove the old SpigotLib and PlaceholderAPI folder if you have used them before)

    3. Start your server

    4. Do /papi ecloud download pluginname for all the plugins which placeholders you would like to use, i.e.
    /papi ecloud download Player
    /papi ecloud download Server
    /papi ecloud download Essentials and so on

    5. Stop your server - DO NOT USE RELOAD

    6. Start your server

    7. Now you can use any kind of PlaceholderAPI variables. You need to use them inside % symbol, like %server_online%



    How to use MvDwPlaceholderAPI placeholders?

    1. Stop your server (if it's running) - DO NOT USE RELOAD

    2. Add the latest SpigotLib, PlaceholderAPI, MvDwPlaceholderAPI and an MvDw premium plugin (i.e. Tab) to your server (remove the old SpigotLib and PlaceholderAPI folder if you have used them before)

    3. Start your server

    4. Do /papi ecloud download mvdw

    5. Stop your server - DO NOT USE RELOAD

    6. Start your server

    7. Now you can use any kind of MvDw variables. You need to use them inside %mvdw_ prefix and % suffix, like %mvdw_maxplayers%

    Animations are built by using different kind of custom effects. Currently supported custom effects are the frames, blinks, scrollers, rainbows and flames. The most important custom effect are the frames, because they are required to be for all animations. So let's take a look at how a single one line animated scoreboard line, with just a single updating variable looks like:

      frameTime: 1000
    These 2 lines mean that the scoreboard will show the players displayname, and will update every second. As you can see, this is too simple to be a real animation working way. That's right, the 2 lines above are just a simple shorting of the following lines:

        main:
          frameTime: 1000
          frames:
          - §e§lYour displayname is §f<plr:displayname>
    This example shows you that each animation must contain a main frames part, which contains the animation update time (frameTime) and the loop of repeatable frames.

    Of course, we can also define multiple frameloops, which won't determine the animation updating time:

          - Showing the <frame:a>. frame
    As you can see, you don't need to define the frameTime option for the not main frame effects, and you can use ; separated frames for shorter configuration. You can also set the frames to loop randomly. Of course you can also set the random option for the main frame parts too. The <frame:a> means the value of the next state of the a frame effect. This example shows you how can you access the configured custom effects from other custom effects (in the example we are accessing the a instance of the frames custom effect from the main frame loop)

    The above examples have just shown you a static frame time for the frames, let's see how can you use dynamic frame times and set the repeat counts of each frame:

    This example shows you all the 4 ways of the frameTime setting. You have already understood the meaning of <frame:a> and <frame:b>, but you don't know, what the {..} prefix means in the main frames part.

    - So the first frame is this: §bThe first second is blue. It has the configured static frame time, configured with the frame time option (frameTime: 1000), so it will be shown for 1000 millisecond = 1 second exactly.
    - The next frame has a {500} prefix which means, that it will be only shown for 500ms = 0,5 second.
    - The 3rd frame has a {<repeatcount>:<frameTime>} option, which means, that it will repeat 3x and will there will be 800ms=0,8 second delay between each repeat.
    - The prefix of the last frame might look a bit too complex. It's actually not, because it's just a combination of the 2nd and the 3rd frame prefix, which means, that it will be shown for 200ms first, then for 400ms, then again for 400ms and after that for 800ms.

    That was the tutorial about frames. I will make some tutorials of the other custom effects, and the variables later on. By that time I would appreciate to receive some feedbacks from you about this frame usage documentation.

    /abr: Reload the plugin, you can also use PlugMan or other plugin manager plugin for it

    /ab: Toggle the boards visibility for yourself
    /sb <boardname>: Switch to the given board
    /abp: Pause and resume the animation

    These commands are from the default configuration, but you can change them in the config.yml file at any time you want.

    animatedboard.command.<command>: Permission for using one of the plugins commands
    animatedboard.board.<boardname>: Permission for seeing a board, if you don't have any of these perms, then you won't see any board, or you will see another plugins boards

    In order to use this plugin make sure, that you have installed the LATEST SpigotLib version. If you need additional variables, make sure to install the PlaceholderAPI too, but it's not required, if you don't need its variables.
