- Tested Minecraft Versions:
- 1.13Bags 2
A port and complete remake of Bags for 1.12.
Bags 2 is NOT compatible with Bags. However, I made a recovery plugin for 1.12 with which you can view a bag's inventory by id.
It's available here. (Syntax: /bagsrecovery [id])
This plugin depends on CustomUtils.
The plugin is available in:
Spanish (thx to WasdCat)
Dutch (thx to Hermandelul)
Japanese (thx to JO3QMA)
Swedish (thx to sketaful)
How to change the textures:
In the .jar file is an assets.zip which contains all textures.
Why did you remake the whole plugin?:
Bags 1 was a hell of a mess and it'd took me really long to get updates out because I almost had to "relearn" my own codebase.
Also it was not compatible with other plugins that used this kind of custom texture method, so I made an API for it called CustomUtils.
Because of the API the port took me less than a week and (almost) features all functions of Bags 1.
Why is Bags 2 not compatible with Bags 1?:
Bags 1's inventory save system was based on ids, so that every bag got an id which was linked to a specific inventory. Bags 2 now uses NBT to store the Inventory (or more specifically the ItemStacks).
I may be making a kind of BagViewer plugin which can view the inventories of the bags of Bags 1.
I hope you all enjoy my plugin
Bags 2 1.4
Transport your stuff with... Bags! A unique plugin that adds bags with custom textures.
The reason I am giving this plugin a poor rating is due to the developers lack of skill. Specifically the need for your dependency which takes further inconvenience to make us create a Dropbox account just to use YOUR dependency. With a little more knowledge on the developers part this could all be avoid on the users end. The idea behind the plugin is a great one, but how the plugin is deployed needs major improvement.
