Bssentials is the replacement for the old Essentials plugin
Also, if your switching from Essentials/EssentialsX then your old permissions will continue to work!

Why use Bssentials instead of EssentialsX?

Essentials was created 8 years ago, and the code base is a mess. So such a mess with unnecessary code, that it took EssentialsX a long time for the 1.13 changes. Essentials is also filled with performance issues & bad practices.

Remaking Essentials from the ground up also gives us the ability for better performance / less resource-intensive, with newer functionally.

    Compatibility
    [IMG]
The EssentialsBridge provides support for the Essentials API.

The “EssentialsBridge” is a compatibility layer between the Essentials API & Bssentials. Plugins like Vault, ChestShop, GroupManager, EssentialsChat, and others that depend on Essentials will work with Bssentials with out any modifications to them if you use the EssentialsBridge

The reason I am giving 3 stars is because of 2 main things: /spawn does not work and there is no "updated" or "working" permissions list. "Internal error occurred" whenever /spawn is used, even if the player has the *.command.spawn permission. I am using 1.15.2 and I do wish I could use this, but there's just too many things wrong. Sorry.

Definitely has potential, however, after using the two side by side, i still find that Essentials does a better job, both on server performance and multitasking, both as Essentials provides a wider scope of commands and tools for handling your server & players.
