Drugs is a plugin that introduces narcotics to Minecraft in a new and unique way. The behavior of the drugs in this plugin incorporates a wide range of narcotics to choose from, realistic side effects, withdrawal symptoms, and the ability to overdose if the drugs are abused. Players can craft them in game by following the recipes bellow. Additionally, Narcan is featured to alleviate the withdrawal and overdose effects, bringing a sense of realism to the game. With the addition of a config file, the plugin is heavily customizable through toggling the use of each drug, its recipe, and even the ability to translate the language of the plugin!


The current list of supported drugs includes: Adderall, Ayahuasca, Cocaine, Ecstasy, Hennessy, Heroin, Ketamine, LSD, Marijuana, Narcan, Shrooms, and Steroids.

Drug Recipes:
Each drug has its own unique crafting recipe which allows players to create them in game! Below is a list of available recipes:

Once you have discovered the required materials, your character will learn and remember the drug recipes in the recipe book. You can then reference these in game at a later time.

Usage:
The usage of drugs is quite simple. All the player must do is SHIFT + RIGHT-CLICK to consume the drug and experience their effects.

Withdrawal Effects:
A unique aspect of this plugin is its implementation of withdrawal effects. After consuming drugs and allowing the main effects to wear off, your character will begin to experience withdrawal symptoms. These negative side effects include nausea and slowness, and can only be cured by administering Narcan.

Narcan:
Narcan is a drug used in the real world to combat the overdose effects of narcotics. In this plugin, you can use it to remove the negative withdrawal effects a player experiences after consuming drugs (no, a milk bucket won't work here...). Additionally, Narcan can be used to prevent a player from dying of an overdose.

Overdose:
If a player gets carried away with the drugs and takes too many at once, they risk the chance of overdosing and dying. Keep an eye out in chat to see how your character is feeling so this doesn't happen to you...

Permissions:
By default, all players are able to consume drugs. If you wish to prevent a player from doing so, you can give them the "drugs.disable" permission node. Anyone with the permission node "drugs.admin" will be able to spawn drugs using the command /drugs <args>.


Config File:
The plugin utilizes a config file which allows server administrators to customize the plugin to their needs! The file offers three main functionalities: toggle on or off crafting recipes for each drug, toggle on or off the usage of each drug, and a language section to allow administrators to translate the plugin to their native tongue! Editing the config is at your own risk. Below is an example of what a translation might look like:
