This plugin allows you to set the maximum levels for enchantments

  1. Squashed more bugs!

    BladeFireTurtle
    Hey,

I was just looking through the discussion forum for this plugin and found a couple of bugs I had missed in the last update.

This update fixes the bug where you can't set an enchantment to 0 at enchantment tables.

I also fixed the bug where players could rename an item at an anvil to get around the enchantment limit.

Hope that's all the bugs now! ;p

  2. Many bug fixes, added support to new enchantments

    BladeFireTurtle
    Hey guys!

Sorry its been so long since I've updated this plugin, I've been really busy and so I haven't had as much time to commit to bug fixes and new features... But finally an update is here! :D

During this update most of the plugin was rewritten, as this had been one of the first plugins I made, meaning it's code was pretty dang messy.

This update contains mostly bug fixes, with the main one being the level increase system. The chances for increase now work as they should, provided...
  3. Fixed issues with limiting at enchantment tables, fixed console errors and more!

    Hello!

So its been over a month since I last released an update but no, I have not forgotten you! ..I've just been really, really busy with life, oh and a few projects for the server I work for ;)

Anyways, this update finally (hopefully) fixes a number of large bugs. For example the one that meant that enchantment tables could get 'stuck' if certain values were set in the config, or the glitch where players could bypass the limit on anvils by using enchantment books.

    I've also made it so...

  5. Bug fixes - Install this version of EnchantLimiter 1.9!

    BladeFireTurtle
    Hello!

Well this is a bit embarrassing, my last 'bugfix' created its own bug that stopped enchanting tables from working at all. :(

I have hopefully fixed this bug now, I've tried to test a bit more thoroughly this time, but you can never be quite 100% sure.

I've also fixed a bug with the enchantlimit.repair permission, for anvil repairing.

    Thanks for your patience!

  6. Fixes anvil limiting glitch, removes console errors

    BladeFireTurtle
    Hello!

This update hopefully fixes a number of bugs that were occurring, particularly one where limiting an enchantment level at an anvil wasn't working. This should mean that players who do not have the enchantlimit.allowrepair, enchantlimit.bypassanvil or the enchantlimit.superenchant should not be able to receive enchantments higher than that which you have set in the config.

I have also fixed a small glitch with the /enchantlimit reload...
  7. Adds a chance factor when increasing enchantment levels, new permission, minor bug fixes

    BladeFireTurtle
    Hello,

This update brings the long awaited chance system for level increases. Instead of just always setting the enchantment level to that which is set in the config, level increases are now done by chance. Each enchantment now has its own level increase chance which can be set in the config (eg: PROTECTION_ENVIRONMENTAL_Chance: 100). The chance is the likelihood of each level increase out of 100, so 50 is a 50% chance of an increase for each additional level, 0 would be a 0% chance...
  8. Added optional permissions, villager enchantment limits and a possible glitch fix

    BladeFireTurtle
Hello, sorry its been so long since an update, I've been really busy with study.

Today I've added a few little things and done some code structuring.

Firstly, default OP permissions are now optional in the config, meaning that if you don't want OP's to get permissions automatically just set Default_OP_Permissions to false in the config file.

I've also added the option to limit enchantments when buying enchanted items from a villager. To limit these items set the...

  9. Added repair permission, fixed message option in config

    BladeFireTurtle
    Hello!

Just a quick update that adds the permission enchantlimit.allowrepair. This permission enables a user to repair an enchanted item, even if it is above the level set in the config. Thanks @Hertz for the suggestion! :)

I've also fixed a minor bug with the message option in the configuration file.

    Enjoy!!

  10. Added support for increasing enchantment levels, added a new permission, small bug fix

    BladeFireTurtle
    Hello!

Sorry about all these little updates, I'm just trying to catch up on some feature requests that I had promised, but had been too busy to complete.

This update adds the long awaited support for increasing levels, so that you can now set a level and make it higher than that which is normally possible in vanilla minecraft ~ Yes I realize the name EnchantLimiter seems pretty silly now, but what can you do? :p

Basically the plugin will now check to see if the enchantment level that...
