EveningWear 1.4

Starter kits for new players who join at night.

Because joining a server for the first time with the Minecraft moon out is unfair at worst (dodging monsters) and boring at best (waiting till morning), it makes sense to give new players who join your server at night some gear to help them get started. Otherwise, you're surely losing potential players to frustration and boredom.

When players join your server for the very first time between Minecraft dusk and Minecraft dawn, they will receive the message "It's dangerous to go alone. Take this!", a wooden sword, 10 torches, a wooden axe, and three loaves of bread.

The time period for granting a starter kit, the message sent, and the items granted are all customizable in the config file.

To install, put EveningWear.jar in your plugins folder and either reboot your server or /reload.

I use this is give all new players a welcome gift. Just configure the times of day that you want to give a gift and enter the ID numbers and quantities of items, and you're good to go. Give it a try!
