HexChat is a first of its kind Chat plugin for Spigot.
It provides support for multiple chat formats, where you can add, remove and edit separate sections.
Each section can have a color set that is either a normal ChatColor (i.e. WHITE) or a custom hex color (#rrggbb)!
You can also add hover and click actions, which can do different things like displaying text or executing commands when you click on them.
Make sure to also check the wiki for more information!
How to apply formats?
Chat formats are set using permissions.
Just grant or deny hexchat.format.<format> where <format> is the name you gave the format in the config.yml
The formats are checked in order (top to bottom) and the last one that the player has access to will be applied.
Additionally, does the plugin require a default format to be set, which would be used when the player lacks permission for any other format.
Gives access to a chat format within the config.
- hexchat.color / hexchat.color.all
Allows the usage of all colors, being it color/formatting codes or hex colors in your message.
Allows the usage of any color code (&<character>) in messsages.
Allows the usage of all hex colors in messages.
If you want to only allow the usage of specific hex colors, give the permission hexchat.color.hex.<code> where <code> is the hex code you want to allow or deny.
