An improved version of BungeeCord's ping_passthrough, with features more relevant to networks.

Version 2.0 is in the works, it is being rewritten to improve on a few things I did wrong in v1 and v1.1

Improved Ping Passthrough is a plugin that allows you to display the actual playercounts and descriptions of all your forced servers, whilst maintaining the whole network playercount for your main server. It also allows you to set the offline message for any forced servers that are offline.

    Main Perks:
    • All configuration is done in the BungeeCord config
    • It automatically detects what forced hosts you have
    • Set your own offline server message
    • Offline servers still display the network playercount
    • Main server shows online player names like other servers

    Configuration:
When you start the server, two new lines will be added to the bottom of the BungeeCord config.yml; "default_server_domain: covemc.eu" and "offline_server_message: &9Cove&e&lNetwork &f» &cSorry, This server is offline!"

default_server_domain is the domain which your users connect to the default server on the proxy, if you have your default server set as a forced_server you can ignore this.

offline_server_message is the description users will see in the server list when a forced server is offline, it does not effect any non-forced servers.

Modify them as needed, or add them before starting the server to save time.

This was created mainly because I found use for it for my own server, and it's something I've needed on multiple networks before, but nobody has ever known how to do it.

If you find any bugs, please file a bug report. If you can think of any additional features you would like adding, leave them in the comments.

As far as I can tell, that happens when one of your forced_hosts doesn't lead anywhere. As in it directs to a server that doesn't exist.

Yeah, if your default server is set in your forced servers, you can just leave it blank.
