MobCapture 1.3.4 - Alpha Build

    Built for Spigot v1.12.2, 1.13.2, and 1.14.

    Latest 1.14 Build is in Alpha and still a WIP.

    MobCapture
    was written to give people a free alternative to MobCatcher(the full version). With MobCapture you are able to throw a projectile of your choice when capturing a mob. This feature also extends to Arrows if you so choose.

    After your projectile hits your target, if you have the proper permissions the mob will turn into a special spawn egg. This spawn egg saves all forms of data concerning this mob (All that I could think to add).

    Payment for capturing a mob can be either in the form of items or money. See the config on how to change between the two.

    Features:
    • Capture creature types categorically and specifically.
    • Capture with projectiles and optional melee capture.
    • Configurable capture projectile types: SNOW_BALL(SNOWBALL in 1.13+), ARROW, EGG
    • Save creature data(Potion Effects, Saddled Pig, Tamed, and much more).
    • Unique Projectile Meta.
    • Vault(soft depend) Economy support, and Item Cost support.
    • Survival-mode spawn eggs.
    • Spawn Egg item lore to describe your captured mob.
    • Disallow players to capture mobs from specific worlds.
    • Optional Coloured-Eggs.
    • Permission-based capturing.
    • Support for GriefPrevention.
    • Support for Towny (1.12).

    Commands:
    '/MobCapture version': Display the current version of the plugin.
    '/MobCapture update': Check for updates, if there is a new version available, a link to the resource will be given.
    '/MobCapture reload': Reload configuration file.
    '/MobCapture regenconfig': Regenerate and reload configuration file.
    '/MobCapture spawn': Spawn a unique mob capture projectile.

    Permissions:
    MobCapture.Admin: Performs administrative tasks regarding MobCapture.
    MobCapture.Catch.*: Ability to capture all types of animals and monsters.
    MobCapture.Catch.Peaceful: Ability to capture animals.
    MobCapture.Catch.Hostile: Ability to capture monsters.
    MobCapture.NoCost: Capture creatures without a cost.

    Notice: For permission of a specific mob, use 'MobCapture.Catch.<MobName>'. For a list of all mob names, see this link.

    Developer API
    If you are a plugin developer and want to listen for capture/release events, see below.
    Capture event name: CreatureCaptureEvent(Player captor, Location target)
    Release event name: CreatureReleaseEvent(Player user, Location target)

    • Throwing egg projectile wont spawn baby chicken on catch.

    MobCapture only works for the version of Spigot/CraftBukkit that it was built for. See the top of the resource for the target version. As of now there is a built supporting 1.12.2, 1.13.2, and 1.14.

    Hi, it's one of the best plugins I've seen to capture mobs, but could you put it so that you can change the language I would like to put it in Spanish?

    Good plugin but had to disable it due to crashing when captured mobs are placed in water.

    Great plugin, only issue is villagers lose all trades after 1.14 update. Before this it was great for moving villagers with good trades to a central location.

    Bug: Players can rename the egg on the anvil and turn it into a normal egg, which can be used in spawners.

    Whoo finally the plugin for 1.12.2 and 1.13.1 that we were waiting for. How did I miss this one. A must have for rpg/survival servers where players have pets and rpg mobs, and now also the ability to find certain mobs in certain worlds to bring home with them and even sell on the global market, etc. Thank you for the custom addition to allow unique items so we can make a new unique arrow in our points shop and require users to acquire that arrow first, before they get charged for using it. Super awesome support - super fast support - My players love this. 5 stars, well deserved.

    Amazing plugin and works as expected! I have a few ideas to make it better:

    Use eggs on spawners
    Custom messages
    Glowing option for eggs
    Custom egg names and lore
