Starting Minecraft 1.8, players can change the mob spawner type by clicking on a mob spawner with a monster egg. Many servers offer mob eggs as an obtainable items and this change may have a critical impact on them, and potentially creates a risk. This plugin aims to securely prevent that.
If you was running your server for some time already, there might be already a bunch of changed spawners. NoSpawnerChange will therefore watch entities spawned by mob spawner and will remove already changed spawners safely.
There's an option to inject metadata to the spawner if the player has 'nospawnerchange.bypass' permission. This prevents the spawner being removed by this plugin again, even if it contains a disallowed mob.
Every feature can be turned off at your will.
- Prevent messing your worlds by blocking changing mob spawners with a monster egg.
- Still allow with permission or in creative mode.
- Remove the spawner completely.
- Remove already changed spawners.
- Specify mobs that are disallowed.
- Execute custom command.
- Alert staff who was nearby the spawner, and spawner's location.
- Enjoy efficient high performance running.
- Plugin requires no maintenance and runs automatically consuming minimum resources.

Disable mob spawner changing with monster egg and remove already changed spawners.
This saved our server! I trust this developer - he does a great job. So, when I saw that he had a plugin to solve our issue with players changing mob spawners with spawn eggs I was SO relieved! Thanks for saving our game! Our players thank you too (I would have disabled spawn eggs).
I have been using this plugin for months, and am very great full it exists. Saved us from users abusing spawn eggs in the shop and creating unfair farms. Thank you very much! I am also very sorry, that people use the voting as a way to, discuss bugs or features they wish/thought it had.

You have the option to automatically remove spawners of a certain type. This is fine but DO NOT HAVE IT ON BY DEFAULT. People had a load of wither skeleton spawners, drowned spawners, ALL WIPED. THIS SHOULD NOT BE ON BY DEFAULT. Luckily I have a backup and hope that it will restore them. But seriously this should not be on by default.
hello I liked your plugin but my desire to use it in another way.
I want this system to break all natural spawners outside but the claim area and not damage(not break) any spawner within the claim area(claim is : griefprevention or claimchunk worldguard blabla). how we do it.
Do you need to create a different spawner than natural spawners. How can I do this if your plugin can't break those spawners. can you help me
