Any Feedback or Suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    About This Plugin:
This is a plugin for placing an item in your hand on the ground. This version is stable and offers commands and permissions!

    PLEASE READ THIS:

    A Word About this Plugin:
This version of the plugin has been completely gutted and has gotten rid of using entity metadata as storage and has switched to a file system.

    -Old Version Support:
The /oldremoveplaceditems command will remove any armor stand that is invisible, has a base plate and, has an item on its head.

    -1.8 Support
This plugin does support 1.8, however only items that are blocks can be placed on the ground at this time. This is because before Minecraft 1.9 the game did not have the ability to render items on player's or armor stand's heads.

    Controls:
In order to place a item or block on the ground the player must be in place mode by using the command /toggleplace, once they have this toggled the player can place items on the ground. In order to place an item or block on the ground the player must be sneaking and have ONE UNNAMED item in their hand. This will only work if the player has ONE item in their hand and the item cannot have a custom name. In order to exit place mode simply do /toggleplace again. In order to pick up and item the player may right click it, however items can be tricky to pick up so you can also break the block underneath the placed item to make it be unplaced.

    Commands:

    /toggleplace
-toggles the ability for a player to place items on the ground

    /updateplaceconfig
    *arguments:
    setplacecap [number]
-this sets the item place cap for everyone on the server, for unlimited use a capital U
    (The default cap is 10)
    updatenotify
-this allows for update notifications to be turned on or off

    /removeplaceditems
-Kills all placed items withing a 16 block radius (only stands placed using the current version of the plugin)

    /oldremoveplaceditems
-Removes all placed items within a 16 block radius (includes support for older versions of the plugin). Only use this if you have no other plugins that use invisible armor-stands that have their base-plate and have an item on their head.

    /setplayerplaceamount
-Sets the amount of items an individual player can place on the ground
    Syntax: /setplayerplaceamount [playername] [number]
*If you want to make it unlimited type a capital U
*To set the player back to the normal server cap type a capital L

    /placehelp
-This is basically a command list with a vague description of each command.

    /setplaceautosavetime
-This allows a player to change the time in minutes between file autosave times (default is 5 minutes)
    Syntax: /setplaceautosavetime [number]

    Permissions:
All permissions are currently defaulted to op only
    (Taken straight from the yml)
Note: don't put : at the end of the permission into PermssionsEx.

    permissions:
    pimplace.canTogglePlace:
description: Is the player allowed to toggle the placement of items?
    defualt: op

Great plugin. It's a shame it's retired. Still works perfectly in the latest Minecraft. I still wonder why this plugin never gained popularity. It's the only one that does what this does, to this day.

Thanks for the review! I haven't been too active lately with plugins since I have been very busy with school for the past year. That is why I retired the project. I had a rewrite for this plugin in the works sometime ago with the goal being to have some of the data more accessible to server owners and some other adjustments. Perhaps in some of my free time (when I have it) I will see if I can dig it up and finish it :)

Thank you so much for another review! If someone really wants too see a feature added on my plugin, I try my best to include it in an update. I especially try my best to keep this plugin as bug free as I can as it it currently my main project :)

Thanks for the review! It appears you are trying to use this plugin on a Minecraft 1.8 server. The plugin is not compatible with Minecraft 1.8. I have tried making it compatible but in order to do so I would basically have to make 2 different plugins in one file and wasn't sure if it was worth the space. I have looked into adding 1.8 support before but I will see about adding it due to the fact that people seem to be using it still, but it might be more practical for me to just make the 1.8 version a separate plugin.

What an awesome resource <3 I love it so much :)
Maybe you should make one single command with arguments instead of 3. But still is a great project... 5 Stars :D

    PD:
Sorry for my english (I know is bad :/) it is not my native lenguage.

Thank you for the review! The next update I do on the the plugin will definitely involve reworking the commands a bit, as well as adding a few for the sake of functionality. I will definitely keep your suggestion in mind!

Thanks for the review! Yeah having too many armor stands will cause frame drops, I might look into adding player based placement caps in the future.

Works amazingly! Would be cool to be able to remove items by hand from the ground as well, unless there's a way that I just haven't discovered.

Thanks for the review! You can pick up the items by right clicking, however, the hit box is very small. It is located at the end of the block in the direction that the item is placed.
