This is the free version of Progressive Difficulty: Mobs.
This demo is not designed to be used on serious servers, but features enough to get a good idea of what the main plugin is about. You can also experience the full plugin for yourself on another server soon.
This free version will not receive content updates, only optimization or bug fix updates if required.
A summary is given, but for a full description you should visit the main plugin page here.
This plugin is in alpha! It has been tested a lot on my end for bugs. If you find any issues, please contact me on my discord server here!
Thank you for visiting this page.
This plugin is the first of a coming series of plugins aiming to add difficulty progression to Minecraft. This plugin does a lot to your game, so it may not be for everyone, but that's what this demo is for!
To give a summary of the main plugin, it adds in a progression system called "karma" to the game. Players may receive good or bad karma depending on their actions, and mobs will get more or less difficult depending on that. They may also become more difficult the more bad karma the player has, being buffed with more health, equipment, or special custom abilities such as knocking the player up into the air when hit. It adds in a number of items that have special effects when used, customizable loot tables, and a "curse" system inspired from Enter the Gungeon preventing people from overusing these strong custom items.
Also, it's almost entirely customizable using easy to use GUI Menus! This means you can use the main plugin to populate your custom dungeons or mobarenas, make your own custom bosses spawn, or use them in an original minigame!
This free demo features just the progression in difficulty aspect, this means it lacks:
- custom items
- loot tables
- most of the custom abilities are left out.
You can technically still customize monsters, but you won't have access to the GUIs that the main plugin has. It will all have to be done through the monster files that are included. The monster difficulty level range is reduced from -10 to 10 --> -7 to 7 and your minimum/maximum karma is reduced to -750 and 750.
Unzip the zip file you downloaded and place the jar file and folder into your plugins directory/folder.
