Make signs that rank players, for free or money.
Simple enough but doesn't work. It needs an update. No matter how many times you check to make sure you users have permissions, it will still come back to now work. Displaying "You do not have permission to buy that rank". Was a great plugin for it's day but now it's dead. Im running Spigot 1.12 with PermissionsEx (Latest Version)
For those saying it isn't working i hope you listen to my advice and this fixes your issues.
I recommend using PermissionsEx for you're rank system. Just like Group manager many plugins support it. Rather recently GM has gone downhill in development and is not as safe from glitches or bugs. PermissionsEX still has a decent staff team and it's still in work. I recommend trying Pex for this plugin as with pex it's working like a charm.
It always says "you don't have permission to buy that rank!".
already set this permission to my group manager default group "- ranksigns.buy.*"
as OP I am able to buy ranks.
btw: "/ranksign help" only shows "/ranksign" not helpful.
could you add a config for multilanguage support ?
Most importantly, you need to fix you Permission node list above. Your plugin uses ranksigns, not ranksign. Once I figured that out, everything was fine until I actually went to buy a rank: It sort of worked, except I had to reload my permissions file before the assignment would take effect. Also, Instead of just adding it to my user entry under "group:" , it creates a new world section, group section, and THEN puts the new group designation in. It seems like its trying to limit the scope of the assignment to the current world. Maybe add a config option to make group assignments server-wide?
