If you want you can also make a donation ;)

    Lib'sDisguises and HolographicDisplay required!

    Why should you use it:
Skinner allows you to change the skin of Vanilla Mobs, Citizen's NPCs, MythicMobs' mobs, players and even of yourself!

    Current versions tested: 1.12.2, 1.13.1

    What's in the next update:
    • Custom skin for vanilla mobs
    • Skin formatter to easily create a disguise (web tool)
    • Space in name tags
    • Modularity (you can disable any function so that you are not obliged to have both MythicMobs and Citizen)
    • Other bug fixes

    Step 1:
    1. Download a skin and place it in Skinner/skins/
    2. Run the command /sk upload <fileName.png> <disguiseName> <removeFileAfterUpload(boolean)>
    3. You will find the new disguise in plugins/LibsDisguises/disguises.yml under the voice <disguiseName>

    Setup for MythicMobs:

    1. Find the disguise you have created in the previous step (look at Step 1.3)

    2. Edit the plugin config (plugins/Skinner/config.yml) and enable MythicMobs (set it to true)
    3. Create a section named as your mob internal name, then set the values of the section like in the example

    Setup for Citizen:
    1. Find the disguise you have created in the previous step (look at Step 1.3)
    2. Edit the plugin config (plugins/Skinner/config.yml) and enable Citizens (set it to true)
    3. Create a section named as your NPC, then set the values of the section like in the example

    Setup for vanilla mobs:
    1. Find the disguise you have created in the previous step (look at Step 1.3)
    2. Create a section named as the mob type you want to disguise (here the list), then set the values of the section like in the example

    Commands:

    /skinner and /sk are equivalent
    • /sk help or ? : Shows the list of commands
    • /sk reload : Reloads the config file (config.yml)
    • /sk upload <fileName.png> <removeFileAfterUpload(boolean)> : uploads a new skin and creates the disguise in plugins/LibsDisguises/disguises.yml
    • /sk upload <imageUrl> <disguiseName>
    • /sk changeSkin disguiseName : changes your skin. You will still see your old skin but the other players will see the new one
    Permissions:
skinner.admin: allows the use of all commands
skinner.upload: allows the use of the upload command
skinner.changeSkin: allows the use of the changeSkin command

Its an incredible plugin robust and easy to use.
    the Dev responds fast.

I can't wait to see what the future holds dor the mob textures...

a request that i would like to make if posable...
can you make an option to store and load the textures locally from the server?

Thanks for your review! Unfortunately, your suggestion is impossible to do because the skins are stored on Mojang servers and vanilla Minecraft can interact only with it. What Skinner actually do is uploading a skin directly from your server to the Mojang one

Perfect plugin. It's very helpful to the rpg server. By the way , can I post it on the Chinese forum(MCBBS) to let more people know it?

I am sorry but for 1.12 you have to use BossSkin and NpcSkin, Skinner is only meant for 1.13+

Great plugin I love the function and idea of it! Finally, someone decided to do something like this and even better, release it! I can't say enough how much this has helped me and it really does deserve 5 stars despite not being the simplest thing ever, but it still works great and is decently okay to setup

Time and time again i have seen some amazing Wonders being created, but this is on a whole other level.

Dude if you can pull it off to make custom skins for mobs without the need for clients to download anything this is well... it... than i just dont have any words...

    btw it works on 1.12.2
