DOES NOT WORK ON JAVA 14 AND ABOVE. Most people shouldn't need to worry, as most people run around Java 8. This stems from a code issue that means that I can only support Java 14 or below Java 14. While most people don't use 14, there likely won't be support for java 14.

TerraformGenerator is a world generator plugin that aims to provide an enhanced vanilla feel. As of now, it is in an Alpha stage, meaning some core features are not implemented yet (a list of known issues and to-dos is at the bottom). However, the world should be playable to an extent, though I will not recommend putting it on any production environment that has strict requirements, because as of now, I am in mandatory National service, and support will be bottle-necked.

There are commands, but they are developer commands and only available via /op. Try not to use them unless you understand what they do.

On another note, for 1.15.2, the version released on 23rd Feb 2020 is the recommended version, as it fixes an itchy spigot issue. More details at the bottom under "bugs". 1.14.4 does not have this fix.

There is also support for Java 14, but be warned that it will spit some minor errors, because the plugin does some Java illegal magic to get things done.

    Method One
    • Turn off the server if it is running
    • Install Drycell
    • Place TerraformGenerator.jar in your plugins folder
    • Inside bukkit.yml, add this, where "world" is your world name:
    Code (YAML):
    : TerraformGenerator
    • Delete the old world folder (if present), and start the server
    Method two
    • Install Drycell
    • Place TerraformGenerator.jar in your plugins folder
    • Use the command "/mv create genworld" from Multiverse
      normal -g TerraformGenerator"
Probably works with multiworld, but I didn't try it.

    • 23 biomes are inside as of now, though some are not in final stages. Bold with asterisk biomes are in final stages (No likely major edits, does not count structures)
      • Mudflats
      • Rocky Beach*
      • Sandy Beach*
      • Badlands*
      • Desert*
      • Forest*
      • Ice Spikes*
      • Plains*
      • Savanna*
      • Snowy Taiga*
      • Snowy Wastelands
      • Taiga*
      • Birch Mountains*
      • Badlands Mountains
      • Desert Mountains
      • Rocky Mountains
      • Snowy Mountains
      • Cold Ocean
      • Frozen Ocean
      • Lukewarm Ocean
      • Ocean
      • Swamp*
      • Warm Ocean
    • One structure is available as of now
      • Strongholds
    • /locate can be used to find strongholds
    • Caves currently follow vanilla generation
    • Trees are generated with Fractal Generation, so no two (large) trees are the same
Birch Mountains, with Birch Fractal Trees

    Badlands & Desert

    Forest, with Forest Fractal Trees

    Ice Spikes

    Savanna, with Baobab Fractal Tree

    Swamp, with Swamp Fractal Trees

    Taiga, with Taiga Fractal Trees

    Silverfish Den

    Abandoned Nether Portal Room

    End Portal Room

    Supply Room

    Trap Chest Room

    Elder Guardian chamber

    Coral/Sponge room

    Treasure Room

    Underground Dungeon

    Drowned Dungeon

    • Snowy Wasteland is a bit too literally empty. I'll be trying to find ways to make it more interesting
    • Mountains are extremely plain now, except birch mountains. Will be finding ways to spice them up
    • Some config options would be nice, perhaps for configuring some basics.
    Sort of resolved:
    • [Bug] Sometimes, physics updates are wonky, and this leads to things like dirt appearing in trees, and farmlands causing dirt to appear in the sky. For now, the fix for this is to update to the latest version of 1.15.2 (or later), as it was tracked to be a minor spigot problem. If you are unable to do so, pre-generate your world, then immediately restart it. The bug does not occur on an already generated world
    • [Bug] Some weird biomes spawn next to each other (like sandy beaches next to snowy taigas/cold oceans) Report any strange occurrences to me.
    • [Bug] When a world is first generated, the starting chunks may not be populated (e.g. no snow, no trees, no ores etc in these chunks). May or may not be a spigot bug that's being tracked here. It was indeed sort of a spigot side issue but since that's not going to be resolved anytime soon, screw it. I'll just bandaid it on my end.

This plugin already shows to be developed with excellent quality with the beautiful landscape and remodeled structures. With that, it has extreme potential in the future as it continues to develop.

Hands down for the best FREE custom terrain generator for Spigot. It works like a charm. TPS won't go below 19 (when flying around and generating chunks), which is absolutely amazing, since plugins like these tend to slow down and lag the entire server. It has some minor issues (which I will report to the author later).

Forget about EWG, TerraformGenerator is the future. And the best part is, that it's absolutely free, and I hope that it will stay like this forever. Thank you so much Hex for your time you put into this resource - I'm looking forward for the future progress of this amazing plugin! Thank you.
