    Description

VPNGuard will prevent players from joining your server behind any type of anonymizer (whether it be a VPN or a Proxy). This will effectively help reduce spammers/bots and Miscellaneous individuals from joining your server by kicking them if they have an IP address which belongs to a hosting organization.

VPNGuard uses a privately managed blocking list which is updated almost daily to Combat new threats.

I also coded a lightweight BungeeCord Version: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/vpnguardbungee.31915/

    Commands

/vpnguard notify (Enable or Disable in-game notifications when a player tries to join with a VPN)

/vpnguard subnet (Allows you subnet ban or unban a IP address range)
/vpnguard whitelist (Allows you to add, remove view or clear a ISP/Organization to your global whitelist)
/vpnguard lookup <player or ip> (Allows you to search any IP address or Online Player in-game to view details)
/vpnguard about (Information about the plugin)

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Q. How many players can the plugin look information up for?

    A. At the time of writing this the backend API provider has a 500 monthly request limit. Which means if you enable api-cache within config.yml you can get 500 monthly unique players and lookup information regarding them with no problem! Just to clarify once more, the plugin is free, however the API Backend this plugin uses is not. I do not manage the API service, so please don't penalize the plugin for you not being able to use it for free.

    Q. What happens when the API monthly limit is reached?
    A. The API server will no longer provide information regarding additional/new users who attempt to join your server, from there those users would be either allowed to join your server without any sort of checking or they would be kicked, this is based on the value specified in the config.yml under bypass-check.

    Q. I have a server and more than 500 new users join per month is it possible I can get more monthly requests?
    A. Yes you can you would need to purchase an API key, at the time of writing this its only $5/mo

    Q. Where can I view details/purchase the API that is being used?
    A. You can visit the homepage by the API provider located at: https://vpnblocker.net

Again this was listed in the FAQ section above.

Had you read the plugin description before downloading and using the plugin you would've known this. And you could had saved your and my time writing/replying to this review.

The best things in life aren't free. If you quickly used up the provided 500 API requests /month perhaps stop being cheap and buy an API Key?

I'm going to assume by 50 you meant 500 in which case yes, the backend API this plugin uses has a 500 monthly request limit, you need to purchase the API service to get more.

This was listed in the FAQ section above.

I'm sorry if your not able to comprehend that this is not a plugin limitation rather a API one.

This is a good Anti-VPN. I bought the 10 dollar api and it was well worth it. I no longer have to worry about players trying to avoid bans. Keep up the good work!

This plugin limits you to 500 unique players, making it not as useful as other plugins. The real reason I am giving this plugin a 1 star, however, is that the plugin is impossible to uninstall. The plugin will continue to regenerate itself over and over. Good luck trying to get rid of it. I'm not sure how this isn't in violation of Spirit's ToS, but I'll be sure to report this plugin to Spigot if this issue isn't addressed immediately.

I'm sad to say your review is completely false, the plugin does not "regenerate itself". I'm not even sure how that would be possible. Simply stop server. remove the Jar file and start your server again.

On top of that I welcome individuals to decompile my plugin to audit the source code as I have no malicious intent.

Had you contacted me before forming conclusions on your own I could had helped you perform a very basic task on how to remove Spigot Plugins, which everyone except you seems to know how to do.

I do not appreciate the vilification your spreading regarding me in this public manner.

Not sure how to actually "allow" a specific IP thats being blocked by the premium VPN guard thing we pay for.

Thank's for the review :) You use /vpnguard whitelist to whitelist the org name. Or you can simply whitelist the user with the bypass permission node.

Excellent resource! This made my day, thanks a lot for this great working plugin. We had some issues with people using multiple accounts and a VPN to bypass their bans but this plugin blocked them with such an ease.

Simply amazing, can only recommend using it ;)
