[1.8] The command /seen

Discussion in 'Spigot Plugin Help' started by VespaLX50, Jun 22, 2015.

  1. Hi guys,

I use spigot 1.8 but is there a way to remove the IP which is in the command /seen? So basically I want to remove the IP due to security reasons.
  2. You could get a bungee command plugin to over ride seen command.
  3. I found this on the essentials permissions page:
Instructions:This command returns the time when the player last logged off.
When passed an IP it will list players who were last seen with that IP
essentials.seenAllow access to the /seen command.
essentials.seen.banreasonAllows the user to see why a user is banned.
essentials.seen.extraAllow the user to see the last IP address a user connected with, and their last logged in location.
essentials.seen.ipsearchAllows the user to search IPs for username matches.

    Just negate the ip permission
  4. Question solved, requesting lock.
  5. How exactly? I don't get it. Should I open the essentials config file?
  6. add the permission to the group -essentials.seen..extra and -essentials.seen.ipsearch
  7. I use PEX. How can I remove it?
  8. /pex group <group> remove <permission> [world]

Or you can disable the seen command completely by opening the essentials.jar and in the plugin.yml remove this:

    Code (Text):
description: Shows the last logout time of a player.
      usage: /<command> <playername>
      aliases: [eseen]
Instead of taking away the permissions, this will completely remove the functionally from Essentials.

Just in case you're unsure how to do this, I did it for you and uploaded the Essentials.jar with /seen removed: http://www.filedropper.com/showdownload.php/essentials-2x-snapshot_1
  10. Type /pex group <group> add -essentials.seen.extraAllow
  11. That only removes the permission from the group if it exists in PEX.

    @VespaLX50 - /PEX group <group> add -essentials.seen.extra

If the command doesn't work in game just add it to the file including the hyphen, at the top of the groups permission list.
  12. I he means add not remove :p. My bad
