Solved 120,000 entities?

Discussion in 'Bugs & Feature Requests' started by FuRiouSOne, Mar 18, 2013.

  1. Where on earth did 120,ooo entities come from? When i run /remove minecarts 5000 it constantly says removed 726 entities and i have TPed to everyone on the server and there are no minecarts anywhere.

  2. use /remove minecarts -1
    ( -1 = all loaded chunks )

  3. Still curious why it was showing 120k entities. Would worldborder fill and dynmap triggers chunkload cause this? I disabled wb fill and restarted the server and its all back to normal now.

Didnt think it would be to harsh as there were only 5-8 players online but i do have 4 servers running on the same machine E-3 1230v2 32GB ram and on SSD.

The fact that you have 12 TPS is amazing. :D

  6. Amazing bad or good?

  7. It's pretty good lol, you have 120k entities loaded :D

  8. I have to agree, 12 TPS at 120k entities is pretty good. My server cannot handle more then 3000 entities without lagging. At that rate, it's around 3-4 TPS lol.

  9. Get clearlag :)

This sounds dumb, but have you tried:

    /remove items -1
    /butcher -f -1

See what happens then. Cause 1.1mill entities and less than 1 TPS is just insane o.o

  12. Yes, i dont think it has to do with actual entities. I am gathering up the errors i have in logs now.

  13. First error in logs: Unsure whats the cause.

  14. I also like to mention i have another server running the same spigot and craftbook as well as most plugins this server is running and not experiencing these issues there. This is happening on my PVE server. My PVP server has been running fine granted im sure everyone is busy pvping then using vehicles?

    Current spigot verion: 667

Will be updating to latest now.

Cause of out of memory error should be obvious..

  16. Reported the craftbook error to craftbook and they say its a spigot issue.

    http://youtrack.sk89q.com/issue/CRAFTBOOK-2462

The out of memory is lead to by the craftbook errors. Still unsure about the mass entitie issues.

Because you are using an old Spigot

  19. So you are stating the issue is fixed in the latest spigot after build 667?

He stated it had been fixed in a later CB build and therefore later Spigot build.
