~3000 entities in world causing server lag (how to kill all entities?)

    Yesterday, the co-owner of my server was messing around with these new "only 1 command vanilla mods" in a flatlands world named sea on my server while I was away. So I come back to the server and find that the server is at 15-10tps (it's usually at 19-20)
    I teleport to his last location and go in spectator mode to find: (this was yesterday, I'll take a screenshot as soon as I find it again, imagine around 1000 invisible armour stands floating in one area)
    That seems to be the main source of server lag. /lag shows that the sea world has around 3000 entities in it.
    So I did essentials /killall all sea but it doesn't seem to kill armour stands.
    I don't want to delete the sea world as it contains many builds that would take a long time to copy over to another world.
    Does anyone know a command that kills invisible armour stands (or all armour stands) OR unloads chunks?

    ./minecraft:kill @e (to kill every entity)
    ./minecraft:kill @e[type=ArmorStand] (to kill all armorstands)
