Access other plugins through my plugin?

Discussion in 'Spigot Help' started by DevHagen, Jan 28, 2020.

  1. Hey Community!

Is it possible to access other plugins through my plugin? For example, I would like to be able to delete others or to inject code via my plugin? If you know how this works please tell it me.

    Thanks for help!
  2. You can disable other plugins with the Spigot API. You can't inject code though, you'd need to modify the plugin itself or (depending on what you really want to do) use it as a dependency so that you can access any public classes and methods.
  3. I want to clone my plugin in a other one.

    Don't do that?
  5. Why? What are you trying to do that requires this?
  6. I'm not sure why you're trying to clone your plugin into another one, but assuming you're wanting to add features to an existing plugin, you could simply use its API.

  7. Of course you can. This is not even a Spigot related question. You can use any libraries you want inside your Java project.
In IntelliJ, go to Project Structure (little icon top right of the window) > Libraries > +
  8. Thanks :D
