[ADVICE] Get Started With Google Cloud $300 Free Credit

  1. Hey there,

Did you know that you can sign up to Google Cloud and receive $300 free credit to use in a year? More info at https://cloud.google.com/free/.

I think this is a good hosting option for those getting started as it's completely free and is capable of holding 20+ players. I would definitely not recommend this for established servers. If you have over 20-30 online players I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I hope this doesn't count as advertising. I am in no way affiliated with Google. I just wanted to share this as this how I got started the first two months and it worked flawlessly for me at a total cost of $0.

  2. 10 gb isn't enough for 90% of the servers that we run.

  3. I think you misunderstand how it works. There’s no such limit for the $300 credit. Personally I had 100GB SSD attached.

  4. Oh ok, I went to the page and it mentioned it's a vcpu, 10gb storage, and stuff like that.

I'll look at it again, when i am sober

  5. This is actually super cool of google to do. I wonder how they benefit from this lol, either way I’m gonna have to give it a try
