  1. Hi,

Sorry for asking what is probably a complete newbie question... I'm completely new to minecraft but i saw my son playing it and i know it is possible to turn on/off some leds using a custom build minecraft server with some extra plugings.

I have build a spigot server (v. 1.12.2) on a raspberry pi, but I'm unable to connect to it with the android version of the minecraft client (v. 1.12.0). Is the spigot server compatible with the android client? I see that the default port is different. Maybe the communication protocol is not the same? Or am i making a newbie mistake?
  2. The server you are running (Spigot) is for Minecraft Java Edition, Minecraft on Android is Bedrock Edition.
For Bedrock Edition try using server software like NukkitX.
