Hi all. After flirting for years with Linux, the Gallium OS distro optimized for Chromebooks has sucked me in. It's great. One thing I'm missing, however, is that I'm a big Google Photos (GP) user. On Windows machines, the GP app autodetects and autouploads new photos. On Chromebooks, the OS detects when you plug in a camera and also autouploads. Now, I'm stuck with this with Linux. After hours of trying, I couldn't get Picasa to work with Wine, so I'm trying Shotwell. It's a decent enough photo organizer, but the online GP website can only upload one directory at a time, making that a real chore with multiple dates of photos downloaded. Is there any sync app or program that can upload to GP? Thanks all.
