Here is my problem that I can't seem to find a fix to anywhere on the internet or in fourms, if I start my server (Spigot 1.9.4, no plugins, fresh server.), it starts fine and the log shows that everything is okay, but when I try to connect to the server via a local host connection on the same computer that is running the server, I am immediatebly booted out with a "The authentication servers are down!" error. I have checked and the authetication servers are fine and running, I have my firewall disabled to allow any connections for my server (even though im just trying to connect locally), I have tried accessing it via my public IP address from another computer, and it gives me the same issue, I have port forwarded, and I have tried everything I can think of. No, I do NOT want to set my server to online-mode=false because then it removes skins and makes everyone loose everything in their inventory when they leave and rejoin the server, but when I do have online mode disabled I can connect as normal. I have tried running the server with my windows firewall off and on, it still never works properly. I think this COULD possibly be a Spigot problem, which is why I am posting this here. Is there a possibility that I could have a problem with my computer or ivp4 or ivp6 settings? I have tried a vanilla and my spigot server, neither work with online mode enabled. I highly doubt this is a Spigot problem. Check you've not blocked all outgoing http/https connections, and also you've not blocked explicitly mojang's servers. This would be in your firewall.
I'd clearly say this is your computer/firewall/network blocking this, checking firewalls further upstream is advised. Try visiting them on the computer, in the web browser. https://authserver.mojang.com/ Consider also that the network access level may affect this, so ensure Java* has public and private network access.
