Hey, on the reviews of some plugins are people, they advertise for a site named "China Plugin Forum" with the domain http://www.mcbbs.net/? I dont like it, because the official forum for plugins is Spigot. And Spigot is not made for advertising other unserious plugin sites. Some peoples asked pluginauthors for permission to add his plugin to the China forums. Can the administration please block mcbbs?
they do this because in china internet is limited (like they can't access some sites), so they have to re-host the plugins. I wouldn't call them unserious, known how big they are, also it's hardly an advertisement, we won't use it anyway (no understanding of the language, and if you do, you probably know them already)
There is absolutely nothing wrong with MCBBS. All plugins posted on there are given permission from the plugin author. Spigot is an English only forum, while MCBBS is for Chinese.
MCBBS is a legit site for the Chinese to use for plugins. They aren't advertising. They're asking your permission to post it on a site where Chinese users can access it because they like your plugin. You should be flattered. That said, if you don't want them to put it on MCBBS just tell them no.
