[Bukkit for MC 1.8.3] Levitation effect from 1.9 in 1.8.3, how can I do this?

    Hey guys. Can any body tell me, how can I make an Levitation effect (not as PotionEffect) in Bukkit for MC 1.8.3?

    You could try to let the player ride something that moves smoothly (Falling Sand, Ender Pearl, whatever) and frequently set that things y-velocity to 0.5.

    Wen i do this, is the player sitting or standing on the entity?

    Sitting. But you could change the Players velocity too

    yes, but when i change players velocity then is the speed not constant
