  1. Ok, somethings wrong here. I've done this a million times before, and I run the traditional
    java -jar BuildTools.jar --rev 1.12.1
but it gives me the error in the picture below. To the right is the file structure.

  2. Are you using the latest stable build of BuildTools?

Open a command prompt and type echo %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH% and hit enter. Go to that path and ensure .gitconfig is there.

  4. Are you sure this BuildTools is vaild?
  5. Ok.... Just gives me another cmd input space. There's no error, so I assume it's there...
  6. Positive, Latest build #61

It had nothing? If the vars were invalid, it should have at least echo'd the varnames back. Try again and take a screenshot so I can see what you mean
  8. See my blank space

  9. Looks like your environment variables are messed up. Actually it should return your user's home folder.
  10. Ok... so how do I fix this exactly?
  11. Are you using Git to run it?

No, its fine. It's not a blank space, it echoed the variable contents which are what they should be, the user home drive and home folder. Now that we can see the vars are fine go back to the command prompt and type "dir .gitconfig" and hit enter. Is it there?
  13. Oh yes. I thought that would be clear by the error
  14. Are you sure? Did nothing for me :p
  15. Whoops. Yes, it is I think. Here's my output:

    Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.14393]

    C:\Users\Michael> echo %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%

    C:\Users\Michael>dir .gitconfig

Weird. It's there and it's where the variables point to. Not sure why it's complaining. You didn't start a build then cancel did you? If so, another git instance may have it locked. You could try getting handle and using it check what is locking it or just reboot and try again.

  17. Uhhhh.... my internet may have cut off for a sec. Could that have effected it?
  18. You're still online but I haven't heard anything.... my players are angry :(
  19. Not sure if this works:
Copy your .gitconfig from your home folder into the folder, where you are building spigot. Maybe Git Bash is able to use this, because your %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH% variables are empty, which could resolve to your current "building" directory.

Sorry, was tending the grill. Try what CodeHat suggested, if not reboot.

The vars aren't empty btw CodeHat, as evidenced in his screenshot.
