Costumized sky color :D

  1. I was been in a server that had a map with an fantastic red sky, more brilliant of the nether_world sky. How to create a world with a customized sky? I need Terrain Control or something like that?

    They just used terraincontrol to spawn normal world biomes in the nether.

    Give me the server IP and ill check it out. I'm pretty damn positive you cannot change the sky color.
    Edit: the nether hue looks nicer when it isn't in the nether but surrounded by normal world blocks.

  5. horde.nl-mc.com go to the arena build with nether brick. My name is AnonymousZz if you want i can wait you at the spawn near the NetherPortal :D

    Yep, that's just the nether. I'm assuming they used a world/biome control plugin.

  9. Maybe they created an empty world with the world_nether biome..i have to test :)

    Just use something to make more then one world, then a plugin to control generating land to make it spawn in the nether.

  12. I had a nether world with regular terrain a few releases back. Afaik there is no sun. It uses ambient lighting, meaning everything is inside a red mist that gives off ambient light. Besides, it's a bit too bright to be the nether.

    Maybe you used MCPatcher on your client?

  16. I just checked it out, it's the nether, but for me it looks way darker than the screenshot, I also stood around for 20ish minutes and didn't see any sun.

    biome = hell btw

    I'm surprised this is the first time people are seeing this.

    The nether sky and end sky are the only things possible in Vanilla

    They do so by changing the dimension or biome - I had a plugin setup for this on Halloween :)
