    people have reported animals disappearing. im actually getting way more mobs now its annoying

    isnt it only naturally spawning animals that despawn, so maybe they need to do more breeding :p

    Get this randomly on my Skyblock server. Some players animals 'disappear'. Then again each one also has a Mob spawner in close vicinity on their islands. Not sure if tweaks can be done so friendly entities are retained and hostile mobs are spawned - despawned according to numbers.
