Discussion in 'Spigot Plugin Help' started by BladeIown, Jul 12, 2018.

  1. Greetings, I'm in the works of creating a server and have ran into an issue with my kits. I'm not sure if its formatted wrong or what. but I'm getting some sort of error as I get a kits.yml error and when I open that it contains nothing useful.

    heres my kits: https://pastebin.com/VbLfjy6z

if someone could take a look and solve this it would be appreciated

    Thank you!

  4. What log do you want? It just shows the default essential kits.

  5. restart server mand and test it again

  6. Hey dude there were a few indentation errors in your code.
Make sure to next time write 1 kit. Test it and then add more. Because if you don't know what you are doing its going to get difficult making it all at once.

btw here is the fixed version: https://pastebin.com/N0vahktW

Oh you had Bricks in there twice. I don't know if you want that because its pointless but I left it in there anyways.

  7. I'm still having the same issue, the default essential kits are still there.

  8. If you create the kits in-game then copy and paste (no editing) it will work just fine. Your problem is that you edit and mess up the yaml.

    /createkit

    Command: /createkit <kitname> <delay>
    Permission: essentials.createkit
If pastebin-createkit is set to false, creates a kit from your inventory and puts it in the kits.ymlfile.
If pastebin-createkit is set to true, creates a kit based on your inventory and returns a link to the file to add to your kits.yml.
