Essentials - set command priority?

Discussion in 'Spigot Plugin Help' started by Roopy, Jun 9, 2016.

  1. Hey, I've been running a server and experienced some issues a few days ago with Essentials so I had to update the file and redo some config. Everything runs smoothly now except some essentials commands don't seem to work like they did before anymore.

For example, /home acts as if the user doesn't have permission (I double checked, default users still have essentials.home), and /give has different syntax arguments than usual.

Funny thing is, I figured out how to get back to the original commands by prefixing them with essentials:. So people can do /essentials:home and users still have permissions. And I can do /essentials:give and it has the same old syntax. I'm assuming some other plugin with these same commands has overriden essentials. How can I make essentials take priority for these commands?

    Check the config.yml file

    Look for overridden-commands

    Change it to:
    Code (Text):
    overridden-commands:
      - home
      - give

  3. Thanks, I just tried that. Unfortunately it didn't work.
    Code (Text):
    overridden-commands:
      - home
      - give
      - sethome

The commands have the same output as before, and I still have to prefix with essentials: to make this work.
