"False Online Mode"

  1. Since everyone doesn't understand what the title means, let me explain: It is false online mode because online mode is disabled in Spigot, and bungeecord is enabled in Spigot. The server says online mode is enabled when I connect to it via bungee-cord, even though the setting is disabled. I am using a shared hosting that I payed for with Multicraft, so I don't have full access but I do have enough access that I should be able to solve the problem. Just to clarify.

    So I'm working on my bungeecord server and I'm linking my PvP Server to it. I've already got my lobby done so far. However, my pvp server has

    I don't understand why because my server.properties has offline mode disabled.

  2. In your run script there's likely the -o flag set to true
    so something like "java -jar jarname.jar bla bla bla -o true"
    change the "-o true" to "-o false"
     
  3. I use Shared Hosting with a company. Specifically, I use MultiCraft panel. Is there any way I can do that with Multi Craft?
     
  4. It's been ages since I've used multicraft, but doesn't it have a giant online-mode box thingy on like the main page of the server panel? or like the general settings page or whatever for the server
    Might be something else if that isn't a thing.
     
  5. Do you have spigot? If so, make sure you configured your spigot.yml correctly.
     
  6. That isn't the issue YourCoal. Spigot.YML enabling bungeecord allows to get the IPs from Bungee. My problem is offline mode.

    Don't be so daft. If you're disabling online mode in spigot, online mode needs to be enabled in Bungeecord.

    What are you on about?

    If online mode is false in Spigot,
    Set it to true in Bungeecord.

    Not the other way around,
    Don't set spigot to true.
     
  15. You don't realize something. Before this thread was started, online-mode=true is already in Bungee and online-mode=false is already in the Server. But it still gives the error.

  18. In the past if you did not have bungeecord = true in spigot.yml this would be a problem. Unsure if it was ever fixed or still existent.
     
  19. I'm moving my server to a different host, bungeecord = true and online mode=false and stuff are already there. It's just online mode is disabled, but the server thinks it is enabled.

    It's called "False Online Mode" for a reason, don't you think?
