I have seen many people recommend an OVH server for BungeeCord but I have been using another, great solution that's also free. It's OpenShift by Red Hat. (https://www.openshift.com/) You can make a server with 512MB RAM, and 1 core (gear), perfect for a BungeeCord server. Follow this tutorial to find out how to install a Minecraft server on OpenShift, replacing the Minecraft server jar with with BungeeCord, of course. https://www.openshift.com/blogs/paas-free-minecraft-server-hosting Some of the problems mentioned in the post are not relevant anymore or are not relevant to bungeecord. Don't SSH port forward or set a server IP. I might write a newer guide, later today.
