Gradle setup, jar file export.

  1. Hello spigot, I'm completely new to the gradle projects, I'm trying to set up a bukkit with it and make a basic plugin to test if things worked well. I was curious if somebody could give me some idea of how things work in gradle and how to export jar file. Thank you.
  2. I still use Ant *blush*
  3. Thanks, really "useful".
  4. I use maven far more than gradle, but can't you go to your build file and implement a new place to get dependencies from? Then it would just be a matter of building as normal afaik. I've used gradle very little but I would look into the build.gradle and try to get the jar into there.
  5. The default gradle configuration should output a jar (when using java plugin) if you use the command 'gradle build'
