Hello I have a problem with GroupManager, when I use /manuadd or manulistp it says "An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command. Then try deleting all the GroupManager files, I know you'll have to remake all the perms, but it's all I can think of to fix it.
I struggled with this problem for literally two years. It started with /mansave and /manload not working, to the plugin just outright breaking. Everyone says "use permissionsEX", and I say "I like group manger's multi-world support better" and they say "well there's no solution then". Anyways, the solution is to use essentialsX, it works with 1.9.4, and (I assume) 1.8 with me perfectly, give it a try! Change all your plugins (including group manger) to essentialsX versions here: http://ci.drtshock.net/job/essentialsx/ Yeah, it says "Group manager is not supported" and all, but it has been an absolute lifesaver for me.
