Would like to see a 1.15 updated version of that video.
Personally I find that 1.13.2 performs better due to the addition of the async chunk loading/gen patch in paper.

Does anyone else have really high mob spawn rates after updating to 1.15?
Yeh, the vanilla values makes them pop up and stick around. They're not actually an issue on our servers, haven't had the urge yet to nerf them.
Would it be possible to also give advised settings for the plugins, like FarmLimiter?
What do I need to nerf to make it like it used to be before this update?
In my case I lowered the spawn limit in bukkit.yml, that worked for me.
What did you change it to?
I had it on 50, changed it to 30.
Is it a noticable change or does it make mobs spawn like they used to?
According to my players it's much better and more like vanilla. You can test and see if it works out for you.
What did you set the other mob rates to?
@Celebrimbor Isn't max-spawn-range 4 by default now instead of 8?

Still having a high entityTick with lower values then in this guide. Is there anything I can try?

Mines are even lower, animals 5 and monsters 20.
