Having BungeeCord on a seperate host from your other servers?

  1. Would it be possible to have your BungeeCord server on some cheap host where it costs like $10 a year for a 512MB slot then have your other servers on dedicated hardware to save money?
  2. Yes. Just point bungeecord to your back end spigot servers, and follow the firewalling guide to make sure players can only connect through bungee.
  3. Sure. Remember to set the connection throttle of all backend servers and your BungeeCord instance to -1 so there are not any connection issues.

Matters, if you have less than 50 players yes, If you have 200+ No, buy a dedicated server.
