  3. The plugin just straight up isn't working whatsoever for me. I've just purchased it, using the latest version of the plugin, using CraftBukkit version git-Spigot-93e20b3-31d3159 (MC: 1.12.2) (Implementing API version 1.12.2-R0.1-SNAPSHOT). The plugin isn't even mentioned in the console, and no configs are created. It isn't listed in /pl. It's as if it's not even installed. I've tried it on a fresh server, and it has the same issue.

    Please help soon, my server is due to be up within the week.

    Edit: Nevermind, I forgot to install Vault... lol.

  7. Do we have a time frame for Placeholder Support? MVDWPlaceholderAPI and PlaceholderAPI support would be very nice. Herochat really doesn't even have any support for Placeholders of any kind, Except the very basics of the plugin itself. I believe Essentialschat has more support.

  8. The new developer that took this over is having some issues right now. Will be having another take over soon.
    We're in search of developers to maintain this project and keep pushing it forward. Herochat is at a very mature stage but its still going to be pushed forward.

    We've had over 600K downloads in the last 7 years. If anyone should feel violated its our team :p

  11. So I will have a few youtubers playing on my server, they are all friends and they asked for an option where they can mute global chat and still chat in a private channel. Is that possible with this plugin?
  12. I found a Mistake in the message_de properties convo_afk = Ich bin zurzeit "AKF". I think its is AFK. I fix it myself but maybe you can to that for all here.
    And if i set me /afk und walk around i´m always afk. Maybe you can do that, if i set /afk an walk around it set me automatic to normal. Is it possible?
  13. How long do Herochat Logs last? Like do they automatically purge themselves after X time or do they save infinitely?
  14. wanted to post an issue in the thread in your link ( but that link never works so Im going to ask here. The default setup of HeroChat does not allow anyone on my server to speak if they are not an OP. My question is, is there a page, place or document I can see that could layout what a typical setup would be for default channels and permissions to those channels. This page doesnt tell me much:

    Permission Purpose
    • herochat.create allows channel creation
    • allows forcing saves on player/channel data
    • herochat.reload allows forcing reloads on player/channel data
    • herochat.mod allows use of /ch mod

    And so on. But it doesnt tell me where this stuff goes or how it needs to be written in any file or if there are commands that should work.

    Basically I implemented this with DynMap and Factions but it doesnt seem to work. All anyone gets is no permissions to do anything. I need to get this working so I can use this plugin.
  15. The permissions don't go into a file. They are set via permissions plugin. I personally prefer LuckPerms (but that is up to you)
    For the permissions part, I would recommend you turn on verbose for your permissions plugin.
    (Works best on the console)

    you can even do

    This way you wont get flooded by perm spam.
    You can then check to see what perms are lacking by your user to be able to test. This works for any plugin or permission issue.

  16. I have a slight problem I have several channels.
    Local Global Market

    Local is the default and I have the other channels set up where I can use an alias for them. i.e. /sh is an alias for /ch qm global etc...

    I have focus disabled for everything. Problem is when I switch worlds suddenly I am forced to be focused somewhere else, and my local goes away. I don't know what's going on. Any thoughts?

    just having a few issues with denizen plugin for citizens.

    oddly it seems if we have the herochat on it breaks the talking to an npc through denizen chat triggers. remove herochat and we can converse once more.

    no errors in console just no response from npc - ive tried turning on logging to bukket in the herochat config as I noticed chat wasn't in the console but no difference there

  19. Is there a permission node that allows players to use color in msg? I know that it is in Moderator-permissions in the config but I want players to have this ability without being a channel moderator.
    • herochat.color.<channel> allows &c style colors in chat
    • allows for bold/italics/etc
