Hello there I am looking to get a dedicated server that has a Intel Xeon E3-1240v5 and I was wondering how well that would withstand cannoning and how well it would hold factions servers with the lease amount of lag
It looks like a pretty solid CPU, I think you'll be fine as long as you have enough RAM to support it all. Always recommended to get a clearlag plugin for factions, though
I'd say it's a decent one, however if you're in the ballpark for purchasing one and your motherboard works with AMD 3000 series, I'd rather recommend a Ryzen 5 3600X as it has greater speed for a better price. However if you can only get what you get, what you have will be okay.
