Hey, Spigoteers. I have a really crappy laptop that can't run a Minecraft server very well. Well... That was before I found Spigot. I found Spigot while looking for how well a Minecraft server would run on a Raspberry Pi. Anyway, Spigot is amazing. It used to be impossible to have two people on the server doing much, and now I get four people without an issue at all. My question is the thread title: How quick does Spigot update to the latest version of Minecraft? With the snapshots being produced, Minecraft 1.7 isn't that far away, and my friends and I are excited to explore all of the new additions together, which can't really be done with the standard Minecraft server program.
