    Alright, so do you mean the MOTD?

    Try editing your MOTD.txt file in the essentials plugin folder and change it to whatever you want.

    Okay, be more specific do you mean the welcome message when a new player joins?
    Do you mean the welcome messages "X has joined the game."
    Do you mean the message when you first login and it says in the chat information about the server like "Type /help for help"

  7. nah like it says Welcome (playername) to the server in YELLOW!

  8. and yes some thing like X

  9. '&eWelcome {USERNAME} to the server'

    Correct me if i am wrong with the player variable

  10. Well you can just make your own plugin if essentials don't do it.
    Code (Text):
    @EventHandler
    public void onJoin(PlayerJoinEvent e) {
    e.setJoinMessage(ChatColor.GOLD + p.getName + " has joined the server");
    }

  11. He wanted yellow so its just the default join message =/

  12. i was gonna do thatv but the ugly yellow one will still be here

  13. What do you need because i am maybe able to create one in a few mins

  14. It shouldn't. If you use e.setJoinMessage instead of Bukkit.broadcastMessage it will replace the old message. Here is the code with what you want.

    Code (Text):
    @EventHandler
    public void onJoin(PlayerJoinEvent e) {
    Player p = e.getPlayer();
    e.setJoinMessage(ChatColor.YELLOW + "Welcome " + p.getName() + " to the server!");
    }

    • Friendly Friendly x 1
  15. thanks it did help! that fixed it thanks!

  16. If you did the rest of the plugin right, it works.
