I spawned something too big...how can I fix?

  1. I downloaded a .schematic from PlanetMinecraft for a server spawn, and it happened to be a bit too big, even though I've spawned other schematics close to the size of this one...

My server is constantly crashing if I try to boot it up. I don't have a backup, sadly...

How can I fix this? Is there something I can delete in my server files to get rid of this .schematic I loaded in?

I haven't tried yet, but would it work to delete the entire world folder?

  2. Try MCEdit first if that doesn't work then reset the map

  3. I've tried MCEdit and MCEdit doesn't let me move and ends up crashing, too. I haven't started anything on the world yet, since I've just tried spawning in a server spawn to start my world. How can I reset the map? Just delete it? It's the default "world" associated with "world_nether" and "world_the_end"

  4. Just delete the "world" folder. It'll make a new one on the next startup.

  5. yea, just delete it. and if you really want that schematic, then just use the /paste -a command. and if you would like it to be even smoother and easier on your server download AsyncWE
