    How would I make it so the plugin checks if there's something in the config and if not added or type correctly it crashes the server/plugin
     
  2. You really want that?

    If what you get out of the config is null -> it doesnt exist.
    Not typed correctly -> depends on what youre doing, parse it to Material or Integer or Double or whatever.

    If something in that regard triggers your "something is wrong in the config" criterea you can disable the plugin (getServer, plugin manager, disable), and throw an exception to get the nice error message I suppose...

    You can't actually purposely crash the server. Thats against the Spigot TOS.

    Also... Why?

    Well I made it so the plugin crashes (i meant that I had 2 days without sleep)
