Intonate is a new censor plugin made to prevent cursing on your server. It uses clever and efficient methods to catch many of the most common chat filter bypasses.

Detection Features:

Symbol deobfuscation - @'s and $'s won't work anymore!

Space and symbol handling - No amount of extra space or extra symbols will get by

Repeated character handling - No matter how many times you repeat letters in swears it'll still get detected

+50 inappropriate words filtered...

Update of Updates

Intonate finally has an Update Notifier!
You will now be notified on startup whenever a new version is available... supposedly.

Testing for the updater was difficult and limited because it uses an API that I have little control of. The bulk of its functionality was not possible to test during pre-release because it looks at recent releases. So this will be a test of sorts and if it doesn't work you'll know by how quickly another update gets put out.

"NØPE!" Bypass Fix

This update includes a bunch of bypass fixes including...

Numbers - My bad, should've had those three releases ago!
Diacritics - It shouldn't be as easy as using accented letters to get around the filter. So now it isn't.
Unicode - Characters that are in special fonts like Ø, , and used to have no trouble slipping by, well to them we say...

Looks awesome! I would like to suggest a command filter whitelist.
So adding commands like
- /shout
- /msg
- /r
to the whitelist will filter/censor the contents of the command (as long as the content is not an online player's name that contains profanity).

Ad Deobfuscation

Well I warned ya that the first version of the ad filter could have some bugs and thanks to users on the Intonate Discord server I was able to fix them fairly quick. They included:

Deobfuscation - this wasn't fully working on ads

There was also an issue with the Update Notifier receiving incorrect data from the API. Hopefully this update will fix it. At any rate, the updater seems to do the correct thing with the information it's given and so the Alpha warning was...

This update involved a lot of work under the hood and didn't include much as far as new features go. It did however include:

Fixed a bug that prevented IP addresses from being detected
