How easy would this be to do.
How hard would it be? Doesn't both already support IPv6 fine?
Not sure, but since the minecraft client specifically has IPv6 disabled in netty is assume spigot wouldn't support it

IPv4 space is running out and hosts are getting stingy-er and stingy-er all the time.
Why not utilize a technology which has been around for nearly 2 decades?
I say any chance to utilize it go for it.

ipv6 comes in minecraft when ipv6 is done and i think in 1.10
